I like France, but many people I know who have traveled to France hated it. They said the French people were very rude to them. Some of them even tried to learn French and tried to speak French while they were there, and they still said the French people were rude. I guess it depends on where you go. I visit my friend in Lyon, and the people in Lyon are nice.

I am American and I adore Paris and everything French. I took French as my language in school and was in Paris last year for 10 days, and took day trips to Normandy and Versailles. Everything was wonderful, including the local people. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The city is beautiful, there is plenty to see and do. What is not to like? Even the taxi rides were a thrill a second. However, you do have a begger problem in Paris and they bother the tourists, but what city doesn't have this? I even like Sarko!!

I am English, but I study French and have been to France and Paris several times. I love the country, I kind of hope to go and stay there for a year when I go to university so as to get a real taste of french life. Sometimes the french can be rude but then, who isnt?

Angleterre est magnifique pour moi parce elle ressemble mon pays beaucoup mais je pense que c'est normale parce que les anglais nous a colonisé pendent la génération de mes grands parents... J'ai déjà y allé plusieurs fois est je vais y retourner cette année pour Noël.
