I've been to the France and I loved it. The French are just very polished in terms of possessing style and class. They are also intelligent, cultured, extremely polite, I LOVE accents in general so it's only but natural for me to adore the French accent. When the French languague is spoken it just seems to roll off from the tongue so effortlessly, softly, and smoothly as if it's a sound of purring. Seriously, just speak to me in French and it's over; you got me! I'll be in so much awe of you *smiles*

My heritage includes French from my dads side so just being on French soil was a dream to me. My last name is Burdette; know of any Burdette's in France? That would be so neat to get in touch with my French roots. I don't know where my French family is located, but while walking the streets of Paris and on the subways I couldn't help but to notice the resemblence from the French locals to my dad's side of the family. It was so uncanny.

Also, it appears to me that race there doesn't mean anything as I noticed lots of inter-racial relationships *smiles* So that was nice to witness.

There everyone dresses with a sense of sophistication being either male or female. It's a very nice look unlike Americans who's style consist of jeans, baseball caps, flip flops, and track suits. In Europe for women the handbag and shoes are the most important aspects of her outfit. I also like how all around Europe people walk, take public transportation (buses, metros, trains, subways, taxis), and mopeds to reach their destinations regardless of what they're wearing.

I think Americans could learn so much from the French and the rest of Europe in terms of how they live. Because here in the States we're so consumed with materialistic things (the newer, bigger, and more expensive things), work-a-holics, greedy, and selfish. But in Europe it's the complete opposite; Europeans know what truly matters most; they seem to have their priorities in order. Their happiness drives from within as they lead simple lives and remember the importance of family, religion, history, and culture.

Though, I don't like the traffic and the driving is crazy. I almost got ran over!

Yes, I do. It has a comfortable feel about it, it has beautiful architecture and very nice parks. What I don't quite enjoy is hoards of tourists everywhere, but it's not too bad in low season.

Paris is incredible! I love the food, the architecture, the art, the culture, etc., etc., .....it is an amazing place!!!

Paris is great - apart from all the tourists. The tourist areas are nice to see once when the season is low - otherwise you can't breathe because of all the crowds.

But what I love about Paris is just the whole atmosphere - it's just a lovely place to be.

Paris is my favourite place in the world. I want to live there someday. I love cities anyway - I like to be somewhere with lots of life and things to do, but Paris is just so special.

I love the architecture, as my dad is an architect and on visits to Paris we saw lots of wonderful buildings he was interested in. I also love Paris' gardens - they're green havens in a bustling city. The cafés of Paris are wonderful too. I could sit in one for hours just watching people pass by.

The people are great, too - effortlessly stylish and generally really friendly. The métro adds something for me, too. I like train travel, and I have no idea why! Plus, there's all the brilliant shopping to be done. And then there's the cliché - it is an undeniably romantic city!

I love Paris sooo much!! I'm British but am in love with Paris.

I love its language, its food, its culture, its architecture, its lifestyle, its fashion.

I'm planning to move to Paris next year.

London is so dull and boring compared to Paris.

What I love the most about Paris is the energy, the ambiance. People hanging out in the park or in front of a place like Notre Dame till very late, even during the week. I love the food, the art, the things to see and do. I like that in some Metro stations, people or groups will just set up and perform an impromptu concert.

What do I not like? The men who accost me if I pause to look in a window or even if I don't pause. The too-pushy caricaturists in some of the touristy locations. The crowds in the Metro and on some of the bus lines.

But overall, yep, I love love love Paris!
