Im just back from Paris and we booked on line directly through the hotels on line site. We also phoned them prior to booking to check on a few details and they were very helpful. It was also a lot cheaper to book it directly!

If you pay for anything on line then you should always look for https and a little padlock that indicates it's a secure site.

We stayed at the Hotel de Bois right next to the Arc de Triomphe and it was fantastic. It's web site is www.hoteldubois.com. Hope this helps
