You say les yeux
Aux - or 'au' when not pluriel - means 'to'

Masculin: le
Masculin pluriel: Les
Feminin: la
Feminin pluriel: Les

Then you can look up for the gender in any dictionary. Twin has a few of them wrong.

Masculin :
Le nez
Les bras
Les pieds
Les genoux
Le torse
Le cou
Le ventre
Les doigts
Les poignets
Les coudes

Feminin:
La tête
La bouche
Les oreilles
Les mains
Les jambes
Les hanches
Les épaules

when labeling, use the definite articles "le", "la", and "les". this corresponds to "the" in English. Hopefully, in the vocabulary section found at the end of the chapter or section you are studying, you will find a list of the body parts with their gender given. If not, use an online dictionary like wordreference.com to check. Unlike in Spanish with the -o and -a, French gender is not predictable. However, plurals usually end in -s or -x.

When you use "le" and "la", there is no reason to further specify m or f. Le = masculine, and La = feminine.

You use "les" with both masculine and feminine plural, so what you will want to do with plural body parts (like "les yeux" or "les oreilles") is stick the (m) or the (f) out to the side.

- les yeux (m) = eyes
- les oreilles (f) = ears
- les joues (f) = cheeks

etc.

As for aux, this is a contraction of the preposition à + les, so it's used very specifically in certain grammatical contexts, unlike the definite article "les" (=the), which is very generic and perfect for labeling!

Good luck!

you would say les yeux. plural, (eyes, there are two)

la tete, (head)

les jambes. (legs) etc.

Les yeux. Le, la and les are french for 'the'. Le is for masculine words, la is for feminine words and les is for plural words. However, L' is used for words beginning with a vowel and words beginning with h

examples:
Les livres: the books, les yeux: the eyes
La fille: the girl
Le garcon: the boy
L'homme: the man

Mrs.Edward Cullen!
yes two eyes - les yeux one eye le yeux although i dont think that would be possible?

To Trampoli :

it would be les yeux.
try a translation website they're more likely to be right than random people on here :)

examples:

le - masculin
la - feminine
les - plural

(also if the word has an e on the end it is more likely to be feminine)
