I don't stereotype people, so I no more like or dislike the French than any other race. I judge each person I meet on their own merits or shortcomings.

I speak almost fluent french, and I spent a summer with a french family in Provence. So I like them.

Freanch people can be whatever they want. They can be nice. Or snobby. Or kindhearted. Or spoiled. It doesn't really matter that their french. For example, I had a french teacher and she was VERY nice. However, another Freanch teacher was VERY mean. They were both from France but in different places.

Love love love them... I am from the united states, Indiana. I would love to visit there. I love the culture, accent, foods etc.... you lucky duck!

I haven't personally known too many French people but I hear they're rude. If you're French that might explain the "hey you."

I thank God for them. Last time I read some US history I noticed the part about how we were in dire straights and then these French people came along, fought off the British navy, Blockaded part of the coast of Virginia, off loaded troops and were the main reason we were able to obtain the surrender of the British army making us (and the French) victorious in the war. Kind of a cool country that helps us gain our freedom don't you think?

Well as an Italian I have to say that the French stole all our great cooking and made it their own (not thrilled about that)....though I do love a well baked baguette, other than that...ambiguous
