Try the Splendid Hotel Tour Eiffel. It's a pretty good value for your money(especially for Paris), and they have some rooms with great views of the tower.

you will not be able to find a hotel in Paris that is decent and with a view of the Eiffel tower for less than $250, if not $300 a night.

Honestly, it will be very difficult to find a hotel with a great view of the tower for "cheap". Paris is an expensive city to begin with for hotels, so a nice (3 stars+) hotel might start at $400 for a view room. Some hotels reserve the views for suites only.

But, don't let that stop you from looking! Contact a travel agent or visit a travel board that has specialists for your area and see if they can help you further! Good luck and have a wonderful trip!

The best way to do this is to go in the "off" season. My husband and I are going in December and found airfare and a hotel for 10 nights near the Eiffel Tower for $2300 through Yahoo! Travel. The last time we went in the summer, the trip was $4500 and we stayed in Montmarte...

Not sure of a hotel to see the Eiffel Tower, but a nice small hotel in the 1st district (city center) a block from Louvre and close to Metro stop with a great price, Hotel Le Loiret.
