How are Latin Americans treated in France?

Show all answers

la vita e bella
Very well--of course if and only if you are polite to begin with. I'm Latina and was treated very well--anyway I don't think they can tell where you come from --or even care. The rule of thumb is that if you are polite and respectful of anyone's country and culture you will be treated with politeness and kindness in turn.

We generally treat people the same way they treat us....and we dont really care if someone come from south America or Venus...we treat people in a good way...so dont worry.

Laughing Annabella
I have never heard of anything negative... Many Latin Americans came to France in the 1970s for political reasons, and this has established many positive links between France and those countries. Latin American music is very popular here (there is a radio station in Paris called Radio Latina).

me me me :)
honesty i dont think they have anything against latin americans because when i went with some other friends ( school thing)
we were in an elevator and the people that were inside started talkin to us they said " where are you guys from?" and we all said " the US" and they made us this weird face and started talkig french really fast and yeah they were talking about us.....
