Don't worry we generally find it supercute. :) And we have nothing against Latin Americans.
Just don't feel insulted if they correct your French, they're just trying to help you. |

French don't have a particular opinion about Latin-Americans. Nothing to do with certain Americans or immigrants for instance.
And French like when you try to speak French instead of English or something.

I'm american, so I can't answer 100% what they'd think of a latin american (though I'd imagine you'd be better received...)
However, they do tend to like it when you make attempts at their language, though they will also try to speak your language if they know it. |
