Paris has two Chinatowns. The first one in the 13th arrondissement, the more recent one, in Belleville.

The Chinatown in the 13th is a pie shaped wedge formed by Avenue d'Ivry, Avenue de Choisy and Boulevard Massena.

To get to Chinatown, take the Metro to the Tolbiac station.

I suggest looking in the Michelin Red Guide to Paris. In one section it has restaurants sorted by cuisine type; look for "Chinois" or "Chinoise." Note that the guide does not necessarily cover all small neighborhood places.

Perhaps someone will correct me but I don't think there is a real Chinatown in Paris, at least if you're used to some of the bigger American cities. (For me that means West Coast cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles.)

The 13th district could be considered as a "chinatown". You can take the subway ("metro"), the bus, or even the taxi to get there. There are plenty of good restaurants, Chinese, indeed, but also Vietnamese or I don't know what...

Paris is full of good chinese restaurants, I forget the name but there is a very good one on Rue de Grenelle. The Vietnamese restaurants are excellent there. Bonne Chance
