I've read about companies that send couriers all over the world delivering documents that cannot be entrusted to third party deliverers. They apparently pay the airfare and give a small per diem. I'm sure you could Google it. Good luck.

Depends where you are. Say you were in a neighbouring country I would suggest walking.
If not, you could always stow away, land in a french airport jump about from the luggage compartments and shout 'surprise!'

don't know about free but you can go over and back as a foot passenger from Dover for £10 and sometimes there are special offers in the papers where you can get foot passenger tickets for £2.
