Bonjour means Hello.

"Bonjour!" means hello, but sounds like it could be used for your purpose if you're meeting/welcoming people.

"Bienvenue!" means welcome, so for example if you want to say "welcome to our home!" you could say "bienvenue chez nous!"

Bienvenu(e) ... bienvenu and bienvenue mean the same thing ('welcome') and the e is added for proper grammer when it's used with a feminine noun(subject? I always get messed up with the technical terms, but all you need to know is that it goes with the feminine term when writing. It's not a huge problem if you forget it, people will still understand your writing.) The words are pronounced the same.
