everyone seems to think boat or plane, however if you live in France you could go by taxi, automobile, motorcycle, bus, train OR walk.

what about the eurostar??? if ure a brit you can get across from waterloo, if you live any where you can fly. the code for the main airport in paris is cdg. (If you voted for Bush, you can swim)

It depends on from where you begin. If you're already in France, then certainly the TGV (www.sncf.com) is the best. If you want to explore on your way there, then I would suggest renting a car - although bear in mind that the petrol and road tolls are very expensive.
If you're in Europe, then probably train or bus, or plane, depending on your budget. From America, I'd sugges looking at expedia or travelocity.Hope this helps!

Here's a good answer...nevermind what everyone has said. I think you should just WALK. If you encounter any water along the way then SWIM. Then, let us know when you've arrived. Good luck, you should start now!!! Have fun!!

1) Buy a plane ticket at your local airport. Make sure you get tickets for there AND back unless you want to live in Paris.
2) Pack.
3) Wait (at home!) for the day of the flight.
4) Don't forget your ticket or your passport.
5) About two hours BEFORE the time stated on your ticket, get in your car or in a bus or a taxi and drive or be driven to the airport.
6) Show your ticket and baggage to the nice lady or sir at the register.
7) Go to the Gate the nice lady or sir told you to go to, present your ticket to the other nice lady or sir, get onto plane.
8) Obey all the rules of a safe flight.
9) Fly to Paris, France.
10) Once arrived, if you are still alive, get off the plane, DON'T FORGET YOUR BAGGAGE at the turning conveyor belt thing! If your case is too heavy, try using the wheels if it has any.
11) Make sure you have Euros and not dollars or pounds.
12) Get on a taxi or bus or just walk to a hotel.
13) Get a room.
14) Enjoy.

To get back to your home wherever, do the same procedure (except for buying the plane ticket, you should still have the return ticket!), don't forget anything in the hotel room.

Now if you live close to it, just look at a map and drive there. However the drive may be long and tiresome and expensive (gas prices!).
You could try to get there by boat, but it might take a few days, more or less depending on what kind of boat.
If you try to go with your yacht, might take you a few years.

Edit: Forgot to mention train! A train is also good if you live close enough. However you must also buy tickets and pack to go on a train!
