How do you dance in a French DIscotheque?

Is it like grinding in America where a girls behind in on a guys frontal area... or will I be totally lost?

Also, what are some cool things that I should buy while in France a souvenirs for my friends that don't cost a lot of money.

first, they're not called discotheque (if you say discotheque in France, people will think you're a loser) they are called boites de nuit (night boxes). And yes, people grind against each other in all sorts of way. But less than in america though... I've seen some pretty hard grinding in america, it's not so... close... in France

front to front.. always. i went to several discotheques in france last summer and all my french friends there said you definitely dance front to front.. so i did and thats what everyone else does too. it a little different though, its more like the guy will slightly raise one leg and you kind of grind his leg.. idk. hard to explain. i was also slighty drunk when at the discotheques so idk. other than that its basically the same as in america. i looove french discotheques though.. have fun!

really badly. in fact, the french are probably the worst dancers in the world. and don't dance with a french guy like you do here in the states unless you plan on taking him home with you, because that's what he will be expecting.

Cheap souvenirs : small mirrors, scissors, hats, guns, frying-pans, chinese 60's radio-receivers, and the portrait of Gordie Brown
