How do you say 'I am an introvert who is very quiet?'?

Would it be Je suis une introvertie qui est tres timide?

Don't use a french translator please..

Je suis une introvertie et ne suis pas tres bavarde.

I am sure that you will agree that an important part of communication is conveying an idea. I suggest the comment pas bavarde (not very talkative) because it conveys the idea that you are quiet (rather than timid). There are plenty of ppl who don't say much, but are confident and definitely not timid. Our society sometimes has the tendency to equate extrovert with good and introvert with bad. But some of the nicest ppl are "quiet". And some of the quiet ppl will talk with you once they get to know you. If you are chatting with French ppl online, good luck. Those text message/chat room abbreviations in French are like another language!

So to say:
I am an introvert who is very quiet in french is :
"je suis un introverti qui est tres tranquille"

Well apparently you're NOT fluent in French =] Using 'tranquille' in that situation sounds both awkward and unnatural, and besides that, since the asker is a female, she would be UNE INTROVERTIE. Also, in French, we don't really use 'introvert' as a noun so much as we use it as an adjective.

Hope this helps!

To the poster above me^^ the poster maybe talking to someone online so he can't see her mannerisms?

And to the poster who asked this question, what you wrote was not exactly correct for what you was asking.

Je suis une introvertie qui est tres timide means "I am an introvert who is very timid" not quiet.

So to say:

I am an introvert who is very quiet in french is :

"je suis un introverti qui est tres tranquille"

It's actually understood in almost all languages (like "No.")

Meh. Unless you're saying this to a French dude who hasn't been in country long enough to pick up on signs you're reserved. Then I can't help you.
