I agree with the above answer, the cheapest and fastest way to get to Paris from Annecy is by train. Direct trains take 3hrs35 to 3hrs48 and can cost as little as 29 euros (for the 6:32 am train arriving at 10:07 am).
By car it is a 6-hour trip minimum including one or two breaks and closer to 7 hours if you hit traffic in Paris. It is 338 miles and would cost 84 euros between gas and tolls + the price of a parking garage in Paris = not a good idea!

The train journey, which is the cheapest way, from Paris (Gare de Lyon) to Annecy has 5 direct high-speed passenger trains (TGV) per day (trip takes about 4 hours).The road trip takes about 7 hours. |

Ah Annecy ! :-) For me, the most beautiful place in France !
I think the best way is to go by train (the famous TGV). You can check the times on this website : www.sncf.fr
You can go either by car (but it's 5 or 6 hours), or by plane (It's one hour, but really more expensive - 50€ by train (just to go) and 350€ by plane (just to go too)).
You can choose your locomotion mode, but the only thing is : you have to go in Annecy ! |
