Avignon to the nearest point on the coast will take one hour and half, at the most, by motorway !
I have travelled that way many times !
at the moment, roads are very busy because of the holidays and it will take longer !
but the trip is so beautiful that it doesn't really matter, enjoy it !

I guess you mean the nearest beach? For example :avignon to st.raphael would be about 300k..but you can get a direct tgv from avignon centre which takes about 3hrs! I recommend "roquebrune-sur-mer" 10minutes by train after nice-direction menton! If you just want to swim as near as possible to avignon,just head for cassis near marseilles! Hope this helped you? |
