To go FROM 51 rue Letort TO the Louvre you can:

1) Take the number 85 bus marked "direction Luxembourg" to the Louvre-rivoli stop. (its about a 20 minute trip) To get to the bus stop by your hotel just walk about a block east along rue Champlonnet.

or

2) Go to the Porte de Clignancourt Metro station and take Metro Line 4 marked "Direction: Porte d'Orleans (General Leclerc)" to the Gare de l'Est (Verdun) stop.

Change to Metro line 7 marked "Direction : Villejuif-Louis Aragon" which will take you to the Palais-Royal (Musee du Louvre) stop. Trip time will be about 30 minutes.

very easy to find. if you live in any district in paris every place is just around the corner. The transport is very well organised.

easy! Its is just outside the "Luxembourg" station. You can see it directly.

Go from Porte le Clignancourt station to Luxembourg due south.
