How far paris city centre from charles de gaulle airport?

paris
About 30 km., but from CDG is a bus every 15 minutes (in July it was 8.50euros/ticket and about 40 minutes the way) and it stops just in the center, near Opera Garnier.

If its snowing, and traffic is backed up.... i promise it will be 100 euros. worth.. hahahah ,, i know i found out... in the taxi...

It takes about an hour maximum by bus and is quicker by taxi. There are regular airport buses going to different parts of the city. You can also go by train.

its about 14 and a half miles

About 14 miles with a straight line.
Between 30 and 45 minutes driving depending on traffic conditions.
It can be much more during rush hour.

In that case RER (train) is much better and safer.

The best way by far is the RER. Take the line B (your only option) into the city, it stops at Gare du Nord (for trains to Belgium, Holland and Northern Germany as well as Northern France and the Eurostar), Chatalet-les-halles (the most central, you can get a metro/rer to just about anywhere from here), or Saint-Michel (useful if you're staying on the left bank). It costs €8,10 or is included in the 1-5 zone Paris Viste pass. Enjoy Paris!

17 miles (27 km)

like a 30 min car ride.

45 MN by car , but it'll be more depending on the traffic. And about 1 hour by train.
