How hard is it to find a job in france? |
me and my best friend are planning to visit france on january 2009 on tourist visa, but our main goal is to find a job and hopefully get a working permit to be legal. we are both male, can you suggest other countries better that france when it comes to career opportunity? your response and answer will be greatly appreciated... a million thank you! |

What you plan to do is totally ILLEGAL. It will be nearly impossible to find a job.
Anyway, even as a legal, it will be very hard to find a job due to the crisis etc... |

It depends on what you're looking for... If you're looking to work immediately, then it won't be difficult, but you'll get the minimum pay (8.71 euros/ hour), but if you're looking for something specific, it might take more time...
There are jobs, but you need to want to work, and not be difficult... People who say that it is very difficult to get a job means that they already work, so they don't really know what it going on in the job market (but what they hear from the medias) |

Currently very hard indeed. France has been hit by the economic down turn as well as everywhere else and a lot of people have recently been made redundant and are seeking employment.
I know one man who is a very highly qualified aircraft engineer, licensed for all types of jet air craft and their computer systems, he can not find a job anywhere in France at the moment.
Regret all of europe is in much the same boat.
You will be able to get short time work during grape/fruit harvesting seasons, but I fear that is all you will get. |
