If you're eating all your meals out count on minimum:

Breakfast: Orange juice, croissant, yougart - 12 Euro
Lunch - Sandwich, snack - 15 Euro
Dinner - Casual - 22 Euro

Meals: 49 Euro A day X 5 days = 245 Euro

Double that if you plan on eating in Luxury, Cut it in half if you plan on grocery shopping and cooking (if you're renting a flat).

You can get a 5 day pass to use the public metro system to get you to every possible attraction. A five day pass will cost about 52 Euro, or $63. It's worth it. You can get around easily everywhere. Get all the zones 1-8 so you can use the pass to and from the airport as well.

The museums and attractions cost between 2-5 Euro to get in, the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Mueum being the most expensive at 8.50 Euro. Don't fall into the trap of buying a 5 day museum pass for tons of money. You will never be able to visit over 200 musuems in 5 days and it's a bit of a rip off.

So, say you visit 3 attractions a day: Average cost 15 Euro a day:

RECAP 5 days:

Moderate Meals (eating out every day budget): 245.00 Euro
Metro Pass 5 days: 52.00 Euro
Attractions 3 a day for 5 days: 75 Euro

Shopping: Cool Souviners: 35.00 Euro
Got to have dress : 120.00 Euro
Got to have shoes: 60.00 Euro

Too lazy to find metro, want to get back to hotel fast:

Taxi stash: 20.00 Euro

Spoil me a little Extra Cash: 150.00 Euro

Total budget: 757.00 Euro or 1,007.81 USD for 5 days

You can economize obviously. My budget summary is based on best case scenario!

Have fun!

P.S. For the Louvre, 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday the admission is 6 euros. I prefer the Louvre at night! The lighting is amazing.

I stayed there for 9 days, and only spent $300 American dollars.

Paris can be quite expensive. It depends on what you are going to do. Safe would be from 100-150 dollars US.

If you're staying at a place where you can prepare your own meals and keep your souvenir shopping to small things, you should be fine with about 150 bucks. If you want to visit a lot of sights, maybe go out clubbing or to the cinema at night, it's going to be more like 200.

There's one night a week where admission to the Louvre is free at night, you should ckeck that out before you go.
