How much would it cost to take a cab from the Pais CDG Airport to the Montparnasse train station?

for one person

Rillifane
The travel distance from CDG to the Gare Montparnasse is about 40 kilometers.

The meter drops at 2.10 euros plus 1 euro for each piece of luggage.

The fare per kilometer from the airport is 1.33 euros.
Waiting time is charged at 29.90 euros per hour or about half a euro per minute. (Traffic jams are not uncommon)

The fare will therefore be 55 euros or more depending on traffic and what, if any luggage, you have.

You are far better off taking the Air France shuttle which runs directly from CDG to the Gare Montparnasse and which costs €12.

Not less than 50 Euros. Why not taking the RER and metro ?

Just to make a couple of corrections on Rilifane's answer, the taxi rate is actually more complex than that. The rate per kilometer is higher for the section from the airport to the Paris boundary. And it also varies according to the time of day - the evening rate is higher and stays valid until 10 am. But 50 euros is a good ball-park figure.
That said, unless you have huge piles of luggage, you are better off taking the RER and metro. It is faster as well as cheaper.
