TGV (train) is a good option, you count about 3:30 hours to reach Marseilles (under Provence, close to the Mediterranean see) |

Where in Provence do you want to go?
I would recommend taking the high speed train (the TGV) to Avignon. The ride takes about three hours and it's a wonderful city to visit. If you go there in the next few days you can catch the end of its famous theatre festival.

I am to sure which train probably the TGV and its about 6 hrs but very nice in the train. Its a great scenic route as well!
