How would I go about moving to Paris?
I am currently just about finished highschool (so I know that I have quite some time to plan and save up!) but I have loved Paris since I was about 11. I would like to live there for a fairly long term... I would think about 3 years or more. I am a Canadian citizen without any chronic or infectious diseases, no criminal record, et cetera. I am also bilingual (french and english).
How would I go about moving to France? Is there a website (say, through the Canadian government) where I can get more information?
The French Embassy in Ottawa has a website which will give you some information. Check the visa links and also the Consulate links for details of long-term or residency visas.

Find a job with an international company that will hire you in Paris, or transfer you to Paris. Make sure it is one that will do all the necessary paperwork. Or arrange for studies in Paris, at one of the universities (but this is only for a temporary stay). Or, if you are independently wealthy, prove that you have the means to support yourself and ask for a visa so that you can move to the city. Or visit the city, fall in love with a French person, and marry him/her.
Do not assume that you can go to Paris and then find a job—with virtually nonexistent exceptions, you cannot find work legally that way. Living illegally is not pleasant unless you enjoy high risk, low comfort, and hunger.

Why don't you check with your school counselor, or parents about it if you're really serious about it. If you need to, call around to authority figures you know, or talk to people who have moved to Paris before. Do what you need to do to get there! You seem like a pretty promising candidate. Paris is beautiful, good luck!
