I'm 27 years old, do I need to buy a first class ticket on the Chunnel train from London to Paris?
My daughter & I purchased 1st class chunnel tickets about 1 year ago through Rick Steve's Website; if you travel during non peak times (I think it was 10:00 am to about 3:00 pm), the price was the same as a lower class. First class was great! The food was good, the champagne, wine flowed freely and the waiters tolerated my terrible French.
Bon Voyage!

Age doesn't have anything to do with it. It's the size of the seats that are different. Virtually everyone travels in 2nd class.

Your age doesn't matter when it comes to buying a first class ticket. It's when you're looking for a Youth or Student ticket discount that you normally have to be Under 26.
U dont need to by a first class atall and age has no meaning but the last time I got the channel ferry it took three and a half hours to get from Calais to dover?
