Sure, Get a 'carnet' of 10 metro ticket's,it's much cheaper than buying individual one's-any tourist or metro map they are so easy to follow-you lok what station is at the end of the line in the direction you are travelling ans choose that direction,so you know where your going;St. Michael is great for a good price 3 course lunch, about 9euro's-it's 5 mins walk to Notre Dam and 15 mins on foot to the Eiffel Tower-metro to the Champ's Elysee and the Arc de Triomphe-from there to the Beautiful Sacre Coer and you can use a metro ticket for the cable car to the top of it's many step's,then walk down to the Place du Tertre for dinner at a very reasonable price, many students eat there because it's good and cheap too-Any spare time walk along the left bank of the Seine or hop on a Batue Mouche-it's a simply beautiful and romantic place-but be aware of pick pocket's.ktf.x |

Definitely do the Eiffel Tower, you have to, its a touristy thing to do. Go to Pere La Chaise cemetary and see the graves of Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison plus it isn't like a cemetary, its a beautiful place to be. Go to Monmatre, see the Arc De Triumph at the end of the Champs Elysee, have your picture taken outside the Moulin Rouge. Definitely go to the Catacombs, underground caverns where the walls are lined with bones from all the cemetaries emptied when they developed modern Paris. Its creepy but you will never ever see anything like it anywhere else. After you have done all that, there is the Pompidou Centre and of course, the Louvre. And thats without two of the most famous churches in Paris, the Sacre Coeur and Notre dame, to see..........enjoy yourself, I have when I have been there..........its a wonderful place......... |

The first thing you should do is get on an open top bus - it's fantastic and you get to see everything from up there and can hop on and off. You can also decide what looks really good and then plan to visit it! |

eiffel tower
notre dame
you can take the river boat/ferry ride and see both of those
pere lachaise cemetary (don't knock it)
the lido or moulin rouge (vegas type dance shows)
champs elysee where you'll see the arc de triomphe
gallery lafayette (the mall)
l'opera (setting for phantom of the opera)
the madeleine
versaille
louvre
musee d'orsay no doubt
and montmartre (sacre coeur)
you can knock most of this out w the boat ride and bus tour |

My very favourite thing is to sit in a sidewalk cafe, and watch the Parisians. They were very friendly to me, even though, as usual, all knowledge of the language deserted me the moment I arrived. I went to the Louvre, which was overwhelming , and out on a day trip to Louis' house. But to sit and watch the people, while drinking coffee and eating a real French pastry, was absolutely wonderufl. |
