I'll suggest you hotel Ascot Opera- rue Monsigny no.2. It's a small one, in a very safe area and, the most important very well located, just in the center of the city, so you can see the "must see" places just by walking. As for a metro station, you have "4 Septembre" at the corner of the street (2 minutes walking). Bon voyage !

Hotel Ascot Opera, and the Moulin Rouge are not bad. any way check hotel sites to view pictures.

We always stay at the Lyon Mulhouse, it's right near the Bastille Metro station and cental to the Marais. It's a clean, friendly hotel, quiet at night and reasonably priced.

bon chance!

Millennium, near the Champs Elysee.

Hotel du Champ de Mars

About 4 blocks from Eiffel Tower and a block or so from Ecole Militaire metro stop. Under 90 Euros.

Hotel Ascot Opera...as low as 75 euros a night which is about 100 dollars. You should also try priceline.com and read some reviews and see what other people who have actually stayed there have to say. Good luck!

Actually u can find Metro almost everywhere.Last time i was there , i stayed in the area of Montmarte, there is a metro bout 5mins away, and the Moulin Rouge just down the street.U can check the sites below for budget hotels in Paris.I like to book with hotel club coz they offer good last minute deals, good hotels ( that is usually pricey) but u'll get it wid a fraction of the price.Good bargains,if u ask me personally.Have fun in Paris! :) au revoir !
