get the big heavy coat, and have heavy sweaters for when you don't need the coat. UK rains a lot. have umbrella and water proof boots. |

You can buy either one. I live in Canada, so I am use to the cold weather. When I was in Europe, London, etc., I find it very mild except at night. It is damp and rains a lot, I did not see any snow while I was there in November, December, and January. If you are from somewhere warm in the US, you might want the thick long coat like in picture no. 2, but I was find wearing something like in picture no. 1
I wore ordinary hiking boots which were OK, but you really need something waterproof and durable for the uneven sidewalks. |
