Yes, they have catacombs under the city. Cool. You should check that out!

I think it is hundreds of skeletons underground in Paris.
Let me know I have heard of them but never seen it.

If the catacombs are closed, go to Pere Lachaise Cemetary. This is truly the city of the dead.
There are the graves of people from Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Modigliani, Chopin and Lalique, and Abelard and Eloise.
You can buy a map from the shops and kiosks outside- you will need one. So many famous people are buried there.
This is definately one of the must see places in Paris.

It is a group tunnels that is located under Paris.The tunnels were actually built by the Romans..
The population of Paris was growing and growing...
They had no more place in cemeteries so they put the bones of the deads in those abandoned tunnels, beneath the city
