I am going to paris for 3 nights. Was wondering how much spending money i would need for BOTH me and my gf?

I would be looking to do as many sites i could fit in and eat out at nice restaurants. Any estimation would be great! Thanks.

About £100- £150 per day would be a rough guide.

I've been myself. I don't know if you want a figure with a hotel, transportation, etc. in there too...but all in all to go comfortably you're going to need around 5500 for 3 nights, to go comfortably that is and not have to scrimp for money.

38 Euros per person for 3-dayVisit Paris metro ticket.

150 Euros per night for a hotel room (I recommend staying in Paris near a metro station. Hotel Pavillion gives rooms fro 150 Euros a night) See: http://www.booking.com/hotel/fr/pavillon-nation.en.html

Food: Breakfast would be included in hotel expenses.

Eiffel tower: costs like $12 per person.

Same price per person for museum. The Paris city museums are free.

Meals would cost you at least 18 Euros per person.

Oh Paris wonderful for you .I absolutely love it,but take lots of money as it is very expensive but so very much worth it.Take your lady to at least one of the exquisite shops on the Champs-Elysees and dine at the Ritz very good food but like I said expensive. But your in Paris so spurge.

You can save money on food and go to nice restaurants by eating early. Alot of French restaurants post menus and show twi-light dining (5-7 pm) and you can eat for 18-25 euros a person. The Louvre is 9 euros and some days are free. Do some research online for the costs for the sights you want and then you will have a better idea of money for seeing the sites. There are soooo many places to eat and you can even grab a panini on the street and eat/walk/sightsee and save money and have a wonderful time. Do check out Angelina's for their world famous hot chocolate-http://www.biteofthebest.com/angelinas-hot-chocolate/

well i do know that in france you pay per room and not per person

I don't know where you are from, but if you are trading US$ for the euro you will need almost twice as much money as you think. I'd allow for about 250 euro a night. I spent 10 nights in Italy for $600 but we stayed in hostels and did lots of walking.

Bookgirl
About $5000.

?
Probably about $6500 maybe. It will be really expensive since the US dollar is weaker than the Euro.

my friend went there and saved up for a long time and took $2,000 and let me tell you when she came home it was all gone she spent it there. and she went alone, but yet again shes a shopoholic. it depends on how much you buy, where you go etc.. i would just start saving up and looking on the internet for cheap resturants and good deals
