You won't be able to get a work visa. The only way you'll be able to work there is if you are on a student visa, so you might want to figure out a way to get one. Also, make sure you learn some French first, if you don't already know it. Most people will speak English to you as long as you try a little French with them first. |

WHY!!!! Paris is no longer the romantic, safe city it once was..It now has a Muslim population of over 25%..Very dangerous especially if you are openly Jewish or Christian..Although the Muslims tend to congregate in certain areas it is ok to visit but even true blue French are leaving in droves.. |

You CAN'T WORK THERE and you need to be able to SPEAK FRENCH if you plan to live there for 6 months.. and YOU CAN'T GET A TOURIST VISA FOR 6 MONTHS.. so just HOW do you plan to MOVE THERE and how do you plan to SUPPORT YOURSELF WHEN YOU DO?
As if THAT isn't enough... rents in Paris are ASTRONOMICAL... When I was living there, my little apartment (about 400 sq. ft.) cost me the equivalent of $750 PER MONTH and it would be higher than that now... RENTS have ALWAYS BEEN HIGH in Paris... Even in the ghetto areas where all the illegal alien africans live is expensive and THERE ARE NO JOBS. |
