I am travelling to Paris, France this fall. What French perfumes would you recommend?

Definitely Guerlain ... Its the oldest existing brand of French perfumes and cosmetics. Their perfumes are beautiful and there's something for everyone Eg. L'insolence for young women, Shalimar and Samsara are 2 classics, L'instant is a fresh summer perfume etc ... Then there are also Dior and Chanel which have beautiful perfumes.

I also suggest that you buy the perfume directly not from a perfumery eg buy from galleries lafayette or primtemps as they do free makeovers and give a lot of free samples.

Enjoy shopping in Paris ! I miss it everyday !!!

Jean Paul Gaultier...It is the result of the following top fragrance: anise, orange blossom and tangerine. The middle notes are: ginger, orchid and ylang-ylang and the base of the fragrance is: vanilla, musk and amber. Jean Paul Gaultier is recommended for romantic use. the price is about $60.00 for 3.4 oz

How canyou answer such a question ? Depends your age, your hair, your style, what you prefer basically -

So when you're in Duty free - look and try with free spray - for this you may ask small paper leaflets - enables you not to spray 100 fragrances on yourself -

Otherwise Marionnaud shops are the most popular ones in Paris - just google for the adresses -

CiaoBella
dior - j'adore, miss dior cherie, addict
lancome - tresor, poeme, hypnose, miracle
chanel - chance, allure, n5, coco mademoiselle
john paul gaultier - classique, gaultier
cacharel - amor amor
