I went their thinking it would be so great cause people rant and rave about it. but it was seriously overrated. dirty, crouded, smelly... bla... not too fond of it....
every where u go u will always find some who are judgmental and some who are accepting. You will find every kind of person there, some good some bad, you will have to choose between all the people you meet.
Paris is the city of romance only for people who are tourists, or who have never been there, its only in films all the romance. You have much chance of finding love there as in any other country in europe or in the world

1.Appearance does matter (dress properly) but the ability to think, debate, discuss intelligently and reason is more appreciated.
2.Boy.....yes...like everywhere else ! Nothing really magical you know..Paris is gorgeous but the myths surrounding the "Capital of Romance" ??

Question One: I've generally had no problems with people in Paris - I don't know whether that's down to my looks.
Question Two: it is called the city of romance and a lovely place to spend a romantic weekend - I'm not convinced however that it's a major determining factor in finding 'true' romance...
