I'm in the northwest, what's the cheapest way? Easy Jet from London? A ferry over? What's a budget way to travel over north France while i'm there aswell, train?...
Insurance here is kind of strange. If you go to Assurland, you get a lot of quotes, but be care full about them. If you are not French speaking person, try to contact AXA, they have English speaking agents all around France, they are not the cheapest ones, but they have good coverage. Not all their agents are good, so it is better to call a few before you find the best one. The difference can be a few hundred euros.
If you are in south of France, send me a note and I give you the name of a very good Agent in Antibes.

No, what you need is good motorcycle insurance and a blessing from the Pope if you are going to ride there!

Don't worry about it. If you cause any damage and they want you to pay up, just say "make me" They might throw a croissant at you but that's about all the fortitude they can muster.
