I have problems pronounicating etre in french ?

"e" like the "ha" of hate
"tre" like "tre-kking"

It's pronounced ettr. Pronounce the e like an English short e. You can barely hear the r. It really helps to hear a French person say it.

You also have problems with the word pronouncing.

Etre is pronounced Aitrer, with the emphasis on the first syllable. If you can get a rolled r in there too it would be good.
