This time of year, it will still be light when you get to Paris at 21.00. Go to Montmartre (Metro Anvers), climb the stairs of the Sacre Coeur Church, its high on a hill so you will have a great view of Paris as night falls. The Eiffel Tower lights up beautifully.

In the day, just walk the Banks of the Seine, anywhere but especially between the Eiffel Tower and Ile de la Cite (the island in the middle where the original Paris, Lutece, started). There you will see Notre Dame, and the beautiful Sainte Chapelle. On the way, you can see the many beautiful bridges. There are also "hop on, hop off" boats on the river, like Batobus.

Or you can walk from the Place de la Concorde (egyptian obelisk), through the beautiful Tuileries garden, to the forecourt of the Louvre, including the glass pyramid. Maybe you have too short a time to visit the Louvre, though, but if you must.... be prepared to stand in a very large group to see a very small painting!

The Metro is fun for the experience but this time of the year, walking is great and you can see so much in a small area.

Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are numerous attractions, sights and things to do, including: The Seine River; The Eiffel Tower; Notre Dame Cathedral; Fragonard Perfume Museum; Free Galleries Layfayette fashion shows (only on Fridays). Check out this link http://www.paris.org for more information. Have fun!

hmm, if it was me, I'll climb up the eiffel tower, go and see the famous mona lisa painting (something to talk back home). I'll shop at the boutiques till I drop and eat baguettes and french cuisine every night.
Anyway, have fun!

Notre Dam, Eiffel Tower. A river boat tour could quickly cover that ground. Have some coffee and a croissant in a cafe, and drink in the splendor.

The Louvre is incredible. But huge and crowded. I had to elbow my way through a crowd to see any of the famous pieces (Mona Lisa, etc)

I would say go to the Louvre. Its crowded, but very fun. The Eiffel Tower is really crowded so I wouldn't go unless you have atleast an hour to stand in line. Versailles is a great place also and isn't that far out of the city. When I went there, it wasn't very crowded and the gardens were peaceful and quiet.

My first response would be to see the Eiffel Tower at night. To get right up underneath it is best, and then you can walk across the bridge over the Seine to the platform looking over the Tower. You can get some great pictures that way. It is lit up at night, and very pretty. The street Champs Elysee is cool to see. There is the Arc de Triomphe, but what I like are the designer stores in this area and in some of the adjoining streets. Armani, Louis Vuitton, Guerlain Perfumes, Sephora perfumes and others. Also, lots of cafes and restaurants on this stretch. Gallerie LaFayette has more designer shopping and is a cool area. Le Printemps is a very popular store in this area.
You don't have a lot of time, and you will find plenty to do. I prefer Paris at night, the City of Lights.
The Sacre Coeur Cathedral is a neat place to see, but what I like most about it is, during the day there are many artists on the street right behind it. Also, you can buy crepes, and different typical french pastries. You can have your portrait done in charcoals in about 30-45 min. and some of the artists are quite good. The coffee in the cafes there though cost around $5 a cup, and their coffee cups are miniatures too.
Have Fun!

The Fun One.
