Anywhere people recommend going for the weekend? I'm looking to just relax, do some shopping, hang out in a bar/pub/cafe - not looking for anything majorly tourist-ey or club-ey.

I know in France the legal age for buying wine and beer is 16, but what is the age for spirits and alcopops?
I've been wondering for ages now, I know that you can drink beer and wine at 16 and strong liquor on premisis at 18, but can you buy 'strong liquor' in super markets when you're 16 or not? Is strong liquor just classified as bottles of vodka, gin, etc and not mixed spirits like alcopops?
