I plan on moving to France Next year to pursue schooling in Paris for Psychology or French. ANY HELP??? ?
I am interested to Moving to Paris, France with a buddy in July or August of 2009! I do have a Canadian Passport and currently not enrolled in any university programs in Canada. I have been to College before in Canada; don't know if that will help? I know nothing about moving across seas, Also, interested in pertaining French citizenship as well.
i have stayed in paris before and i had the time of my life. i love paris!!!! first, you should learn how to speak french because a lot of french locals do not speak english. when it comes to visas, i am not an expert on that area.
all i can tell you is that ... you should have an open mind and an open heart. if you are from canada, the norms and culture would be very different in paris. it would help if you have a friend with you and if you guys know someone who has lived in paris for a while because only a person who has lived there can really help you with whatever you need. also, you have to remember that food in paris is expensive. their major transportation is called the metro and it is an inexpensive way to get around.
I have read a very informative book about moving, studying and living in france before, check this out: http://www.amazon.com/Living-Studying-Working-France-Everything/dp/0805059474/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1229231476&sr=8-1
get information from the french embassy in canada =)
goodluck with everything =)
