The airfare will, of course, depend on where you love so I can't say anything about that. I will assume that you want to do this trip as inexpensively as is reasonably possible.

Stay at the cheap but central Hotel Tiquetonne. A single with shared facilities will cost only 30€ a night. So figuring that 14 days means 13 nights accomodation that is only 390€.

Have breakfast like a local at the closest cafe with just some coffee and bread with jam and butter for 5€. Eat lunch at a cafe on somedays (moderate price) and pick up something from a grocery on others (low price) averaging 15€ and for dinner pick up a gyro or some other kind of sandwich and a coke at a street stand 10€. Food costs of another 30€ a day making 420€ for 14 days.

(If you're a student with an internation student card you can eat at the CROUS student cafeterias which are totally dirt cheap.)

For nightlife stick to student type places or just having a glass of wine and people watching at a cafe. Figure 20€ average per day for 13 nights makes 260€.

Walk most of the time and use the metro for the rest. Average proably no more than 5€ a day or 70€ for 14 days.

390+420+250+70=1130€ or about $1500

Cheaply, and for one leaving the United States? About $3,000.00.
