You will not regret going to Paris, it is a place that you absolutly should see before you die. You should start saving and go next year, it is spectacular.

I go to France every year. If you can afford it, it would be crazy for you not to go. Paris is very much worth the trip.

I went to Paris for the first time over 35 years ago. I have been going back almost once a year ever since then.

Obviously I think its pretty wonderful.

All over the United States (and everywhere in the civilized world) the young are thinking of Paris. Many will manage to get there.

When they do, for many, it will be a life altering experience. They will walk in the footsteps of F.Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway, Sylvia Plath and Alice B.Toklas. They will stroll along the Seine and fall in love. They will think great thoughts in smokey cafes, discover history, art, culture and the reality that the world is bigger than they ever knew or even dreamed.

Go! Go when you are young. Go when your heart and mind are still open. Go when youth puts wings on your feet and dreams in your heart.

When you watch the sun rise over the Seine you will find that "Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven"

Regret it? No, never.

I just got back about 3 weeks ago from my 5th trip to Paris in 11 years. I still love it. Do some people give you attitude. Of course. But it is a major city. You're gonna get attitude. Don't you get attitude in New York? Don't you get attitude in Los Angeles? Of course you do. And it's not from every one. You treat those you meet decently they will treat YOU decently. Don't go in with a chip on your shoulder cuz you expect them to be nasty.

Enjoy yourself. Paris is a wonderful, beautiful city. The sights. The food. (oh the food) The shopping (Printemps & Galleries Lafayette).

It's hard to describe Paris in words, by far the most amazing city in the world. If you have a chance to travel abroad, I'd put this city on the top of the list.

If you start off a trip thinking that you'll regret it then you will. If you want to go to Paris then save up your money get a passport and go. Plan on enjoying your time and you will. I've never been there myself (but its on my list!) but many of my friends have. Some love it and go back yearly. Others have been once and hated it. The majority of people I know love Paris.

I say go to Paris....and have a blast!

France in general is like the most amazing countries ever! From the best food to sooo many things to do (night life, tourist attractions, and even off the beat paths), you can't go wrong. I didn't have a chance to get to Paris my 3rd time in France, but I lived in the north for a year and made it to Paris many, many times. The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee (where you feel SO poor walking into stored there lol), Arc de Triomphe, the Thinker...and also some random cool stuff like a guided tour of the sewers (doesn't smell except at one spot, and it's not too wet unless it's raining outside) and the catacombs with actually skulls and body parts..

Anyway. I'm in love with that country. GOOOOOO! Just don't be too too surprised if there is a bit of polution, if the metro smells like piss, and some people working in tourist shops are a little mean. And only buy stamps at an actual post office, tabacco places will lie and tell you it's more expensive.

You won't regret it; it's a beautiful place. It does reminds me a lot of New York City. I was just there this weekend, well, just from Friday to Saturday. I live about five hours away in Germany. I plan on going back with my family this fall; I need about $800 to spend three days there.
Start early, find a good hotel, and save as much money as you can. I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Champs Sur Marne for 53 Euros a night.
