Hi there Fishy Dino,

Each country has different requirements from each other country, so it depends on where the traveller is coming from.

I've just written a page about this on my website, which might be of help to you - you can see who needs what before they travel to France:

http://www.a-night-in-paris.com/travel-information.html

On this next page you'll find all kinds of tips about passports, credit cards etc while you're travelling. I'm not sure if this will help with your project, but here it is:

http://www.a-night-in-paris.com/passport-guide-travel-tips.html

Good luck with the project!

Cheers
Bonjour2007

If you're American, no visa is needed, but you do need a passport.

If you're a U.S. Citizen...you need a passport...but not a visa...to visit France.

If you're going to work there or live there...you'll need a visa, too.

The Department of State has a website that gives mounds of information regarding foreign countries. Check it out: state.gov, and do a search for France.

If you are a US citizen - passport, yes. Visa, no. We were there a few months ago.
