Im going to be in Nice, France in a couple days for the first time. What are some things to do? (see add. info
I plan to go to the beach but I'm looking for good bars at night as well as good restaurants that will serve large portions but at reasonable price.
Just visited Nice. I enjoyed going into Vieux Nice. It's the old quarter. Go up Castle Hill too for some nice views of Nice and its port. Getting a big meal for a small price will be a feat. Food is generally pricey there no matter where. Try a gelato at Fenocchio in Place Rossetti....the lavender flavor is unique and delicious!

I'm going to Nice in two weeks. Not because I want to, but because my mother-in-law lives there.
That said, Nice is very pleasant if you can get away from the family. But it's rather pricey.

the beach in nice and you can go parasailing for 30 euros a ride. it's fun but a bit pricy. there's nice bars around the nice city area and there's a couple near the promenade des anglais. you can go to other cities such as monacco for a 10~20 euros. and travel
good luck
ps go eat the crepes near the beach. and theres a british bar with people advertising at the beach
