I would immigrate to the United States.

Adapt.

I lived there and yes, the strikes and bureaucracy can be annoying - but you get used to it. There's just too many pros: great food, wonderful wine, interesting people, lots to see and do. I made some friends for life, I think the Fete de la Musique should be held everywhere, a whole world of cinema and literature has opened up for me, and I now know how to make proper vinaigrette!

I would try to find my family there. My mother was from France, and I have never met any of them. Thanks for asking.

If i lived in France I would visit the Eiffel tower and calm the people who are going crazy.

Chris
I do live there, and spend most of my time being irritated by the French. Beautiful county, but man, the people really do take some getting used to.

I believe that would be a wonderful opportunity. I have only seen Paris and some of the outskirts. The people are so friendly when you are polite and respectful. To sit at a corner bistro, sipping wine, talking with friends, watching the world go by is exquisite and I would do that as often as possible.
To stroll the Boulevards and notice the small but art-filled environment, door handles like you have never seen, ornaments of sculpture on everyday buildings, flowers where you don't expect them.
To have the time to visist all of the museums, often, a segment at a time, perhaps just one painting or one sculpture.
To see the seasons change.
Store windows a different kind of changing beauty.
To enjoy the magnificent pride of individual shop owners trying to offer you the best service and products available.
But your question is....what would you do if you live in France.....my real answer is, live.
