Is Disney Paris worth going to if I'm from Los Angeles?

I'm from Los Angeles and I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count. I'll be in Paris for about 6 days and some friends are considering going to Disney Paris. Will I just see french versions of all stuff at Disneyland? Is Disney Paris even close to the center of Paris?

My recommendation is to skip diney land Paris, if your in Paris for 6 days there's so many great things to do that you'll wish you had 6 more days. Once you seen 1 Disney Land I guess you seen them all.

Hi there, I don't think so. A friend of mine went and he is a stockholder in Disney, and doesn't recommend it. (he is a Disneyland fanatic) If you have 6 days in Paris, there are plenty of things to do. You can also go to places right outside of Paris. I would do a yahoo search on Paris and see what comes up that you might be interested in. Normandy is near Paris, and you can see where the US came on shore in WW2...they still have the barbed wire up from then. Lots of other things to do. Have fun and don't forget to have a crepe...yum! PS-i've been to Paris for a day before, and I know I would not waste a day at Disneyland if I ever went back =)

I can't really understand the reason why the American go to Disneyland Paris instead of visiting Paris itself.. There are so many old things you can't see on your continent...
I guess it's a nonsense to visit this parc if you already know Disneyland in CA or FL...

Have a great time in France ! Hope you'll enjoy it

We spent several days in Paris a few years back, and opted to visit Parc Asterix instead of Disney - kind of a variation on the theme. It was really a lot of fun. The park is about the same distance from Paris as Disney, and you can get to it on the RER. They have package tickets.

Avoid DL Paris! It's overpriced, not to mention the horrible exchange rate of the Dollar to the Euro! It's crowded, the people are rude and cut the lines like crazy, and some smell like they haven't seen a shower in a week. All of the narration is in French, so unless you're fluent, too bad!

As other have said above, go see the sights throughout the city. That will take a few days if you want to get in as much as possible. Paris is wonderful, and honestly the people aren't any more rude then they are in any other major city. If you want to see Micky, go to Anaheim.

If you have a day to kill and wanna check it out go for it. But I felt it was a "pretend" disney- not quite the same and almost fake. But on the other hand I loved the fact that the haunted mansion ( which is brown) was in french and so was the cinderalla story in the castle. If you a true disney fan- its cool just to see things in french. Its also a great day trip from paris the metro takes you right up to the ticket booths.
I was there in NOv 2003. It was on a tues I think. NO one was there!!!! I felt like I had rented the place out for myself. I was able to walk up to every ride and get on....the most i waited was 8-10 people in front of me. THAT's NEVER gonna happen in LA!

No it's not. It would be kind of creepy watching French people being nice

It is close to the center of Paris, but I sure would not waste a day there. There are so many things to do and see in Paris! Euro Disney is meant for the Europeans who can't make it to Disneyland or Disney World.
