Make sure your hotel is air conditioned. It is going to be definitely chilly in February. I was there last week and the temperature as around 5 to 6 degrees and windy. Dress in layers. If you coat doesnt suffice such weather, no worries. In Paris, the winter coats are quite cheap , especially in the roadside shops. |

Paris is always a good time!
Seriously, take a few warm layers as in Paris you might find that you'll be outside more than at home! And many of the hotels are a bit chilly especially the older ones. They are worth the experience though! Have a great trip!
Peace. |

Paris is pretty cold in February (though nowhere near as cold as New York is) but other than that February is as good a time as any to visit in the winter. You won't have all the spring/summer tourists for one thing.
I was just in Paris recently, and even in the winter it's a beautiful city. |

It's always a good time to visit Paris. I was there two years ago in February for a long weekend. It was chilly and overcast, but I didn't care. Just dress in layers and you'll be fine for spending all day wandering through this beautiful city. Besides, the cold weather gives one more excuse to linger in a cafe over a cup of hot chocolate!
I've been to Paris in every month during the first half of the year (except April). There are always things to see and do. For example, in the winter months, when all the leaves have fallen, you can get some great photos. Try framing a photo of a building or monument between rows of squared-off trees. No joke -- in the Palais Royal and other places, the trees are pruned sort of like boxes.
Even on very cold days, street markets will be open and artists will be out. For me, these are part of the charms of Paris. |
