Yes, very difficult. Maybe you could try to find an internship program to help you get your foot in the door. I've been trying for years, and I have a master's degree in IB. |

It really deends on the job you are aiming for. Living in America may be good for your ressume when you are in Paris. |

Yes it is more difficult because unemployment in France is currently about 9.4% (i.e. about twice what it is in the USA)
Furthermore, you can not legally work in France without a permit from the government which will not be forthcoming if want to first go to France and then look for a job.
Your best course of action is to scout jobs at American companies that have a presence in Paris. You may have to work here in the States for a while. But, if you establish yourself and impress management with your brilliance (which I assume since you have the good taste to want to move to Paris) you can then wangle a transfer to Paris. Under those circumstances a work permit is easy to obtain.
You might also consider seeking a position in the United States Foreign Serivce or even the military and angling for a posting in Paris. |

I'd say not harder than for a french person. But then it's not "easy" for anyone.
It may even be slighty easier for you because of language skills on your resumé. |

it's hard to get a job in france period, the job market sucks and half the country is on welfare because you actually have a higher standard of living while on welfare than with a regular job. it's a mighty tempting way to live, having the state basically just support your needs and allow you to do your own thing. oh but of course their are downsides but why care about the trivialities of life. |
