Oh yes. You find the brits in force in all areas of France now. They have to own their places. There are not many areas of Europe where the brits do not "invest" in property.

Indeed many are especially in the Bordeaux region. The problem is that British pay overprized houses/grounds and many young,local couples can hardly or not afford these prices.

I do not think this is limited to wine producing regions.
I have heard of large amounts of British buying homes in various regions such as Normandy, Loire Valley and Dordogne.
Have not heard of it for the Champagne area for instance.
