Is it worth it to go to France for a week? |
Im going to France and a couple other places for a month or two this summer, and am trying to convince a friend to go with me at least to France before her school starts up again, but she would only be able to stay a week. Would it be worth it for her? |

I think France would be worth it. It only takes like a day to fly there and a day back, so you would still have five days. I think thats a pretty good vacation, especially if you already have where you want to go planned out. I mean, if you had the choice, you would probably want to stay longer, but I wouldnt advise not going because of the duration. |

You would have to decide how long you yourself are prepared to stay in one place or area for her sake and it would depend on what travelling mode you have. Paris has so much to offer for the tourists for instance that you could happily fill a week together and she would have had a wonderful experience too. It would take a day to do also either Versailles or Fontainebleau as they are just outside Paris and you would not have to travel far. Elsewhere, if you have a car, then you can explore an area, such as Normandy, together without wasting too much time travelling long distances and it still would be worth her while.
There is so much to see and do in France that going there, even for only a week, is an experience not to miss. |

It would be great to go however think about it there are so many things to do and see you probably won't have time and you will be to tired and rather than enjoying your week you will not. So you should do an itinerary of the places you want to visit and then determine how long you should stay. This way you would have everything planned out and won't be running from place to place. |

Yes, but I'd stick to just 1 or 2 French cities and not spend the whole vacation on buses and trains. |
