http://www.hotelformule1.com or http://www.accorhotels.com

These are the websites of the renowned French hospitality group, Accor.

They have two chains of budget hotels- Formula-1 and Etap.

Formula-1 hotels are usually a bit away from the city and as the name seems to suggest, are mainly motels for motorists. Rooms do not come with an attached toilet or bath and you can expect only a bed, with a bunk bed for a kid and a basinette in the room, which is pretty small. They cost about EUR 30 per night.

Etap are slightly more pricey but offer basic comforts such as in-room toilets.

You can try searching for cheap deals at http://www.hotels.com

q answers
yes, formula1

Sounds to me like you don't have enough money to take a decent vacation. The Euro $$ is very high now. Even if you could find a cheap (20$ is a flop house) eating and getting around will drain what you have left. Perhaps you should reschedule the trip?

You could go to a Hostel It costs about 12 to 15 bucks.

You have a few options. My first suggestion would be to invest in a "double" room. What this means is two small to medium beds in a given room. Let two people check in and the other two people can get lost for a few minutes. The only other option would be to stay at a hostel. After seeing the movie "Hostel", I wouldnt suggest it.

Do you have a guidebook? Stay in a hostel. I think I stayed in something called Woodstock hostel in Paris. Try it out. For an online search engine that may turn something up, try this site:

No! No more than this is realistic in London, Rome, Berlin, Tokyo, etc. etc. Paris is one of the most desirable travel locations in the world and the price of hotels, even hostels, reflect that. And check out the euro -- your 20-25 dollars gets you less every day. There are some extraordinary places to travel where your price range is reasonable but not central Europe.

You can't stay in Bumville, Ohio for $25 per night. How can you possibly stay in Paris, France for that? That isn't even reasonable and I think you are only joking.

And for 4 people ....... you must be kidding. What is your daily food allowance $1.50 per day for all 4 people?

Even a hostel would be $15 each, per night.
