You might find it helpful to go to the Yahoo Answers - France site and ask. While there are a few French nationals who come to this portion of the English verison the great majority of people are Americans.

Just click on France at the bottom of the page. Then go to the "Societé et culture" section and the "Langues" subsection and post something like "Je voudrais apprendre le français. Je cherche une personne de m'aider."

Hello, I would probably suit you as I'm French and I have always lived in France ( except for one year as a student in England). I'm now an English teacher over here but I'm afraid I wouldn't have enough time to get involved on a regular basis.
I was just passing by on the English Q/A for a change.

Have a try in the French section of Yahoo Questions/Answers
Good Luck
