I think you would probably feel the most rewarded by Italy. There is so much too see and the culture is so unique and faninating.

It is a small country so you can really see a lot of it in a short time. Rome is amazing. It is full of different layers of history. Florence is so beautiful and the food is excellent. There is also so much art to see. Venice is interesting but I would recommend staying in Padova because Venice can be a little much. Those are just the places I have been. I think Pompay would be interesting as would Naples. I know a lot of people who also enjoyed Sicily.

nxt time : tell at least how long you plan to stay
it is easier for advicing you.
France is world Nr 1 destination... there must be a good reason.
Best food, best wine, lots to see and very friendly to tourist as there is a long history of hospitality (Remember Jefferson already loved to stay in France...).
But it is not the place to send rude undereducated arrogant people...
Thanks the speed train system you can easily travel the country and mix impressions : Paris, French Riviera, Bordeaux, ...
I would not recommend UK : beside easy language there is less to enjoy, beside London of course. In addition, I would say very unsafe in these days, it is the most islamic city in the EC.
Italy is the second choice but you have less diversity than in France and communication and traveling is awfull.
In addition it is mostly not very clean and pickpocket a national sport. Opposite to what is said her above; distances are an issue too : look at a map... and in addition : no speed train and the national airline is broken and often on strike... fun to spend vacation stucked in an airport...

It really depends on what you want to do or see. Those 3 countries are so different... I live in France and the countryside is absolutely beautiful and so varied (an ocean two different seas, big mountains old mountains). the weather is usually nice specially in the south of France. I used to live in Bordeaux and the region is gorgeous and now I live in Britanny even more beautiful... Food is great too. I have noticed that people on this site say that french people are rude, don't bathe etc... I am so appalled that I can't answer back.

As for England, the countryside is beautiful, obviously communication is easier thanks to the same langage and London is really great !

Italy would be my choice (see, I am French, I love my country and though I choose another one).
Italy is really gorgeous and food is absolutely fantastic. I would recommand a wonderful place called "cinqueterra" near Genoa, beautiful little middle ages villages by the sea. There is a lot of american tourists though, I don't know if that would be a good or a bad point for you.

Please don't listen to people who obviously don't know what they're talking about. My English is far from being perfect but I have lived in thoses three countries.

2 days after my B day :)
England: too many hobos trying to sell football scarves

Italy: never been there

France: Oh la la! Nice perfume stores there....

Italy only if you want luxury and being pampered breathtaking veiws and maybe if you want history GO TO CAPRI ISLAND it is just off the coast of Naples it is absolutely breath taking I absolutely LOVE it there!

Y'a quelqu'un ?
Italy or France but not UK (to proud of themselves. Spear-time : football and beer !!!) plus heavy rain and bad food !! Maybe London, there's no more English there.

Italy : Very nice, long history, good food, nice people. Better go south, in Tuscany (Florence) and in Rome.
North is very Cloudy from November to Mai.

France : 1 touristic country of the world. Probably the most beautiful city of the world : Paris. A lot to see : every part is very different. Would go to Paris, then Marseille (3 hours by Train TGV and cheap). From there would visit la Cote d'Azur (Cassis, St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco etc...) with a car till Nice.
Then Fly from Nice to Toulouse (1 hour). Here u r in the place to eat and drink : foie gras, armagnac etc... I would go to Biarritz (Atlantic ocean).

If u have time go in Brittany in ur way back to Paris.

Unlike people think, french love tourists. They just hate tourists that just still behave like if they were in their country : try to say "bonjour" first, then "je ne parle pas français" and everyone will try to help u.

I visited those three countries, and I would say Italy. Rome is more beautiful than Paris or London. But France and England are also interesting countries.

I would say Italy even if I am living in Paris. If you have time you should do both but not UK.
